Acceptable Use Policy
Updated May 18, 2026
Effective date: 2026-05-18.
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) supplements our Terms of Service. By using Arcana VPN, you agree to follow it.
The Service is designed to be a privacy tool. We respect what you do online and do not monitor your traffic. In return, you agree not to abuse the network in ways that harm other users, third parties, or our ability to operate.
You may NOT use the Service to:
1. Distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Zero tolerance, zero warnings. We cooperate fully with law enforcement for this category, and your account will be terminated immediately upon any credible report or detection. This is non-negotiable.
2. Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam)
- Mass emails to addresses you don't have permission to contact
- Spam phone calls or SMS originating through the VPN
- Telegram spam, Discord spam, or any platform-spam
3. Distribute malware
- Hosting or sending viruses, ransomware, trojans, worms, or any malicious code
- Running command-and-control infrastructure for botnets
- Phishing pages
4. Conduct attacks on infrastructure
- Denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attacks against any target
- Port scanning of targets you don't own
- Brute-force password attempts against accounts you don't own
- Network scanning at scale designed to identify vulnerable systems
5. Abuse third-party services
- Scraping at volumes that violate the service's robots.txt, ToS, or API terms
- Coordinated automation to extract data, manipulate prices, or circumvent rate limits
- Account creation fraud (creating fake accounts at scale on any platform)
6. Abuse the trial or referral systems
- Creating multiple Telegram accounts to claim multiple trials
- Operating bots that exploit the referral program
- Sharing subscription URLs with strangers (your subscription is for personal use within the device limit of your plan)
7. Engage in activity that exposes us to legal risk
- Activity that we have reasonable belief is illegal under your jurisdiction or under widely-applicable international law
- Threats of violence or harm against any person
- Hate speech or harassment campaigns
What about legal activity that's restricted in some countries?
You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. The Service is a privacy tool; what you do with it is your responsibility. We do not provide legal advice and we do not monitor your traffic to determine whether your activity is legal in your country.
Enforcement
If we have a reasonable, credible belief that you have violated this AUP, we may:
- Suspend your subscription immediately and without prior notice
- Terminate your subscription without refund
- Cooperate with law enforcement for serious violations (CSAM, threats of violence, large-scale criminal abuse)
We rarely terminate accounts. When we do, it's because the abuse is clear and unambiguous.
Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using Arcana VPN to abuse you or your service, please contact support@arcanavpn.com with:
- The IP address(es) involved
- Timestamps with timezone
- A description of the abusive activity
- Evidence (logs, screenshots) where possible
We will investigate. Because we do not log traffic, our ability to identify specific users is limited — but where the abuse is ongoing, we can often disable the specific subscription responsible.
