How to set up Hiddify on iOS — VLESS + Reality in 4 steps

Hiddify is the most reliable cross-platform client for VLESS + Reality on iOS. It's free, open source, and handles subscription updates automatically. This guide walks you through getting connected in under 3 minutes.

What you need

• An iPhone or iPad running iOS 15 or newer
• An Arcana VPN subscription URL (from @arcana_vpn_bot on Telegram — the 3-day free trial works too)

1. Install Hiddify from the App Store

Open the App Store and search for Hiddify. The official app is published by Hiddify Foundation. Free, no in-app purchases.

2. Get your subscription URL

In the Telegram bot, run /start and pick a product. After paying (or starting your free trial), the bot sends you a subscription URL that looks like:

https://sub.arcanavpn.com/sub/<your-token>

Tap to copy it. This single URL contains all your VLESS configs and updates automatically when we rotate endpoints.

3. Add the subscription to Hiddify

Open Hiddify and tap the + button (top right). Pick Add from clipboard — Hiddify reads your subscription URL automatically.

Hiddify will validate the URL, fetch your configs, and show them in a list. Don't toggle any individual server — leave the subscription as a single unit so updates work.

4. Connect

Tap the big Connect button on the main screen. The first time, iOS will ask permission to add a VPN configuration — approve it.

You're connected. The shield icon goes blue. Open Safari and visit ifconfig.me to verify your IP changed to a European one.

Troubleshooting

"No internet" after connecting — switch products inside the bot (Germany → Finland) and refresh your subscription in Hiddify (pull down on the subscription card).

Slow speeds — try a different product. We rotate endpoints, but ISP-level routing varies. The 3-day free trial of each product is designed for exactly this verification.

Hiddify can't import the URL — make sure you copied the full URL including https://. Try Add from clipboard again, or paste manually via Add → Subscription.

Why VLESS + Reality and not WireGuard?

WireGuard and OpenVPN have detectable traffic signatures. Reality makes the VPN tunnel look identical to a legitimate HTTPS connection, so deep packet inspection can't tell it apart from regular browsing. Read more: What is the Reality protocol.
